Pros & Cons of Small Town Living

Just over a week under our belts of small town livin'...I realized today what city slicker kids we had when visiting a local fall fair that I used to look forward to every Labour Day weekend. Junior wanted to see the farm animals, and when leaving the stalls he looked down at his feet and said "Mommy...there's something....strange on my foot. Get it off!!!" I said "That's hay. Just rub your foot on the grass. You'll live." Hay. The kid didn't know what hay looked like.

As an adult, re-acquainting myself with the city I grew up in and the northern lifestyle that comes with it, has been fun. I look forward to regaling you with our follies. For now, I present you with 5 pros and cons of small town living as discovered during our first week here:
